Oh, the details!

I tried to pull together my winter wonderland and make it truly us at the same time.  That's why there are pops of orange (my ultimate favorite color).
I'll try to explain as best I can....the things that don't explain themselves.

The flowers!!!  Ooooh, the flowers!

My beautiful things!

I loved every bit of of my beautiful things.  My dress, my jewelry, my simple (but very comfortable) shoes.
Something old: A sapphire pendant from a necklace my mom wore in her sister's wedding.  Pinned to my garter
Something new: Snowflake earrings from my bridesmaid Ashley
Something borrowed: Handkerchiefs borrowed from my bridesmaid Crystal
Something blue: A sapphire/diamond bracelet from my sister/MOH Melissa
There aren't any great close-ups of my necklace...but you can see it throughout most of the other pictures...particularly the "formal" shots

The Rings

Just  a couple ceremony details...

The Cake
The cake was flavored "Creme Bouquet" which was a light and neutral flavor.  Each tier had a different mousse filling.  Raspberry mousse, lemon mousse, chocolate caramel mousse, and peanut butter mousse

The escort card table.  Decided to keep it simple with the cards and my friend BLEW me away by going full out on decorating the table.

Chair covers and Chair sashes
Blue sashes with snowflakes for the head table and white sashes with silver snowflakes for the rest.  With silver roses and calla lilies tucked into each.

MY CENTERPIECES!!!!!
I loved my centerpieces.  When I walked into the reception room the night before after my friend Jenny had already been there for hours setting up...I cried.  I couldn't believe how perfectly my vision had come together and how well Jenny had executed it.  My winter wonderland was complete.
*My tables were named with winter associated words like; blizzard, snowflake, igloo, icicle, etc.  One in particular was fun to do.  Most people remember the cartoon penguin Chilly Willy, right?  Well, my mom's maiden name was Wille.  So, the table that I sat her siblings at was named "Chilly Wille".  They all got a kick out of it!

I read a quote that stated, "Snowflakes are winter's butterflies".  I found this quote AFTER my wonderful friend had sent me a mock-up of the centerpieces that already included these beautiful butterflies.
