Just Us

Russ and I decided to do a private reveal moment prior to the ceremony with just us and the photographers.  I had two main reasons behind wanting to do this.  First, I wanted to get some pictures done prior to the ceremony and second, I knew that seeing Russ ahead of time would ease my nerves...and I was right.
I am so glad we made the decision to do things this way, because it was phenomenal.  By far, one of the best moments of the entire day.
After that, we headed into the ceremony room to get some of the "formal" shots done (on another page) and then Russ and I got some shots of just us.  Below are some of the shots of "just us" from before the ceremony.
Also, immediately following the ceremony (no receiving line) we headed outside for some photos.  It was just us again and it was amazing to have this time to ourselves.
It was, however, FRICKIN' cold!  I think the highest that the temp got was about 6 above.  We spent a little over an hour outside in this cold and by the end of the pictures you can tell that our cheeks are getting a bit red.
Our photographers were great though and braved the cold with us!  The did have to tell us on occasion to hold our breath because you could very easily see our breath in the photos.  Some photos, you still can see it.  I love that.

Enjoy...

Just the beautiful bride

Just us - before the ceremony

Just us - After the ceremony...out snuggling in the cold!

We had a bit of troubling getting around in the snow.  I had my big dress and cape to manage, but luckily I had boots on!  Russ wasn't so lucky in his rental tux shoes.  Luckily he had our DOC Kirsten to help keep him upright...talk about going above and beyond...
